Visual tent planning
Use a grass-style canvas with draggable tent cards, people cards, mess tents, storage tents, fire points and flag poles.
Camp Tent Planner is a visual drag-and-drop planning tool for camps. Place tents on a grass-style field, allocate Scouts, adults and young leaders, keep friend groups together, and export a clean printable tent allocation table.
Free to use. Works locally. No login, no cloud storage, no internet required after download.
The app is designed for a practical field-style workflow: drag tents around, drop people into allocations, see warnings immediately, and print something adults can actually use.
Use a grass-style canvas with draggable tent cards, people cards, mess tents, storage tents, fire points and flag poles.
Add campers, adults and young leaders with male/female icons so groups can be checked quickly at a glance.
Link friends together. Dragging one person in a linked group moves the connected group together.
Warnings are shown for mixed-gender camper tents, camper/adult mixing, camper/young leader mixing, insufficient adults, foe conflicts and unallocated people.
Create a clean tent allocation table and export it to PDF for A4 printing. Tent tags can also be exported.
Projects save as readable JSON camp files. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account or cloud service.

Before you download, please pause for a moment. As Scout leaders, we do not just teach the Scout laws, we try to live by them.
A Scout is trustworthy: this is an honesty-box download, so the choice is left with you. A Scout is helpful: this tool was built in personal time to help leaders spend less time fighting spreadsheets and more time planning a good camp. A Scout is considerate: if it saves your group an evening of admin, a single £1 payment helps recognise the work behind it and keeps improvements possible.
The download is still available either way, but the Scout-law answer is fairly clear: if the app is useful to your camp, please consider putting just £1 in the box before taking it away. Nothing more is being asked.
Download the Windows setup executable, run it, and the installer will copy the app locally and create Desktop and Start Menu shortcuts.
